Is AiSA approved for SkillBridge & GI Bill?

Yes, AiSA’s Agribusiness program is approved for GI Bill, DoD SkillBridge, and Military Tuition Assistance.

Do I need prior farming experience?

The Agribusiness program does not require any prerequisites or prior farming experience. This course is specifically designed to take students from complete beginner to operational farmer, making it ideal for those determined to start their own farm or food business.

Do the 6- and 12-week formats differ?

Our 6-week intensive program is perfect for veterans who can focus full-time on their agricultural education. The 12-week option offers identical curriculum and college credits but is paced for those balancing work or family commitments.

Does this help with FSA loans?

Yes, our Agribusiness program is an officially approved program that fulfills the educational criteria for FSA Farm Operating Loans.

Is the program 100% online?

Yes, with the exception of our dedicated on-farm course option, the entire curriculum is delivered 100% online via Zoom. Course materials are on the Canvas learning platform.

What’s the total instruction time?

Both our 6- and 12-week programs deliver approximately 240 hours of comprehensive agricultural instruction, equivalent to 16 semester credits.

What is the refund policy?

For a full tuition refund, please withdraw before the first day of class. After the first day, tuition refunds are not provided. A $150 registration fee from UMN Crookston applies to withdrawals within two weeks of the start date.
